Slack Key Guitar Master Ledward Kaapana is set to release his latest Recording project entitled “Ledward Kaapana’Kihoalu’ Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar. In his typical fashion, Ledward displays impeccable Finger style picking and flawless technique. Recording under the Rhythm & Roots Label, the project features 5 new originals penned by Ledward Kaapana including: Fish Market Slack Key, Slack Key Lullabye, Wood & Steel Slack Key, Pau Hana Slack Key and Pau Pilikia. Also included in this collection of goodies are Ledward’s version of the classic tune composed by the late Leonard Kwan “Opihi Moe Moe” along with other standards such as Aloha Ia NO’O Maui, Kolomona Slack Key, He Aloha No O Honolulu, Living On The Easy, Ka Makani Ka’ili Aloha/Pua Tubarose (medley), and Bo Wills’ famous San Antonio Rose. Rounding out this beautiful project, Ledward choose to record 2 ukulele instrumentals that will surely brighten up the ears of his long time fans. These numbers include the 1970’s favorites “Killing me Softly” and “Love Is Blue”. Milton Lau, producer of the project, claims that Ledward has never been in better form then he was while recording this project.
